Developing a West Yorkshire equality, diversity and inclusion strategy
NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) is developing a West Yorkshire Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Strategy for health and care and is keen to hear from a wide range of stakeholders, including staff and people who use health and care services, to help shape the priorities.
They are running an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy Development event on 9 July 2024 from 10.00am to 4.00pm at Kala Sangam Arts Centre, Bank House, 41 Bank Street BD1 1RD. If you would like to attend, please register on Eventbrite.
The event is just one way the ICB will collect different views to help develop and deliver their ambitions. In addition, a survey will be released at the beginning of July and a number of focus groups are being planned by West Yorkshire Healthwatch:
- 9th July, 6.30 to 8pm: Online focus group on Zoom.
- 10th July, 2pm to 3.30pm: Leeds focus group at Gipton Fire Station.
- 25th July, 2pm to 3.30pm: Online focus group on Zoom. 29th July, 2pm to 3.30pm: Kirklees focus group at Huddersfield Mission.
- 30th July, 10.30am to12pm: Wakefield focus group at The Plex.
- 31st July, 10.30am-12pm: Calderdale focus group at The King’s Centre, Halifax.
