Community Events and Activities

Come and take your pick from hundreds of plants and seedlings at our popular annual plant swap – great for food growers and friends.You can choose from: Vegetables, Salads, Herbs, Fruit and Wildlife-friendly flowers.

You’re very welcome to bring along plants, seedlings, cuttings or seeds to swap. Or you can make a donation to Growing Newsome in exchange for your plants.

• Stalls, including local produce on sale.
• Seeds – vegetables and other seeds to swap or buy.
• Sow some seeds to grow on your windowsill.
• Crop protection materials on sale.
• Tea, coffee and home made cakes.
• Two course lunch served at 12 noon.

For local organisations

If you're part of a local organisation who would like to have a stall or run an activity at our event, please email us: growingnewsome@gmail.com

This event is also a great way for local growing group to swap plants and seeds.
