About the organisation
Established in 1974, YCC is a regional charity that supports vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people, and their families, within Kirklees and surrounding areas. Our vision is for all young people to have opportunities for a better life, now and in the future. We aim to ‘Improve lives and Inspire change’ and, through our four interwoven strands of work – Education, Health & Wellbeing, Employability & Skills, and Relationships – all helping to drive equality of opportunity and social justice forward – empowering individuals to make positive life choices and be the best they can be.
