Join us for a celebration of community learning and activity in South Kirklees. Hear from local community groups like Serendipity Creative Arts, and S2R, who've had small grants funding to run a variety of activities including:
- healthy eating,
- campfire cooking,
- creative writing,
- first aid,
- marketing and promotion,
- jewellery making
and find out how to get Community Learning Works funding for activities for your own group.
There'll also an opportunity to hear from experts about:
- other small grants funding,
- recruiting volunteers,
- getting support from and promoting your services and activities through TSL Kirklees
and there'll be time to meet and network with other local organisations.
Includes free networking lunch from 12.30, with speakers from 1pm.
People Helping People Network meetings are run by Third Sector Leaders Kirklees in partnership with Kirklees Council. They are designed to give information and support to community groups, voluntary groups, charities and social enterprises.
