Project Support, Alternative Business West Yorkshire (ABWY)

We are looking for an experienced Project Support/Administrator to provide support to the ABWY Programme Manager and the delivery partners. Key activities will include general project/administrative support, marketing communications support, events and meeting management support for finance and monitoring.
The role is based in TSL Kirklees offices in Brian Jackson House, Huddersfield and is part time (22.5hrs).
The ABWY programme (Business For Good West Yorkshire) will deliver support across all alternative business model (ABM) enterprises throughout West Yorkshire – co-operatives, social enterprises and community businesses. The project is funded by West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) as part of the UK Shared Prosperity (Levelling Up) funding. The Business For GoodWest Yorkshire project has received just under £500,000 from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
ABWY is led by TSL Kirklees and delivered by a partnership of local providers Participate Projects, Voluntary Action Leeds, SEE Ahead, Stir to Action and Coop Culture supported by national organisations Co-ops UK and School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE).
Our aim is to make it simpler and easier for alternative businesses to be set-up and for existing business to be more resilient.
