MAPPING OF SERVICES IN KIRKLEES SUPPORTING PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, MENTAL HEATH ISSUES AND AUTISM

We have been asked by South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SWYFT) to map services in Kirklees which provide support to people with learning and physical disabilities, mental health issues and autism;  this is because SWYFT appreciates the significant contribution the voluntary and community sectors play in supporting people’s health and well-being and it wants to increase links with groups and improve their sustainability.

SWYFT has also allocated a small grant scheme to support groups that deliver services supporting its priorities and this mapping exercise will help identify groups that require funding to continue and grow.   Later this year, we will let groups know when they can apply for these grants.

We would like to either:

Speak to you for about 20 minutes about the services of your group and gather other helpful information. Please email Mithu at  mithu@tslkirklees.org.uk with your contact number and preferred time and date.

OR

Alternatively, please complete the brief questionnaire which you can download below and return to Mithu at mithu@tslkirklees.org.uk or email any queries you may have.

Please circulate this email to other groups which support people with disabilities, mental health issues or autism.
