Small Grants Funding Supporting People In Crisis

**APPLICATIONS STILL BEING ACCEPTED**

Kirklees Council’s Local Welfare Provision provided Third Sector Leaders Kirklees with a grant of £16,000 during the first lockdown to use for emergency food supplies at the weekends when they are closed.

They have now provided us with another £16,000 that can be accessed by groups supporting people to reduce financial hardship and building financial resilience.

Funds can be used by community groups in Kirklees for:

  • Supporting people in financial hardship
  • Providing food & essential supplies
  • Set up costs & membership of food share schemes (e.g. Fare Share)
  • Building financial resilience

The application process is very simple and grants can be approved and given very quickly.

If you would like to find out more, chat through your ideas and apply please contact Bridget Hughes, Supporting Communities Lead bridget@tslkirklees.org.uk or 07540 434573.
