The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust runs a network of hospital services across three sites at Pinderfields, Dewsbury and Pontefract. Volunteer roles are currently available at Dewsbury Hospital.
This service provides newspapers, magazines, and confectionary items to our ward patients. All our patients are cared for with respect and dignity. Volunteers provide services which contribute towards holistic patient care and add to the overall quality of service provided to patients. Volunteers complement paid staff they do not supplement them. This is a great opportunity to gain customer service skills in a health care setting, as well as meeting new people in this rewarding role.
