The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust runs a network of hospital services across three sites at Pinderfields, Dewsbury and Pontefract. Volunteer roles are currently available at Dewsbury Hospital.
If you are looking for experience in a healthcare setting then we have ward-based volunteering roles available – 7 days a week 8am – 8pm
Times:
We ask that you offer a 3-4 hour slot per week, these are usually split into the following shifts:8am – 12noon, 12noon – 4pm or 4pm – 8pm. Volunteers will need to be 17 years of age or for roles in the Emergency Department you need to be 18.
Dewsbury and District Hospital is located on Halifax Road, Dewsbury WF13 4HS.
Travel expenses are offered. You will be required to wear an ID badge and polo shirt and to adhere to patient confidentiality and infection control.
