Women of West Yorkshire Event

The Women of West Yorkshire network meets at The Piece Hall to learn together, spark ideas, and grow confidence and community.
This year, we’re embracing the International Women’s Day theme “Give to Gain” — a reminder of the power that emerges when women share what they know, support one another, and build community through generosity and collaboration.
The event will open with remarks from the Mayor and the Inclusivity Champion, before moving into an informal, welcoming space where WoWY members can explore, mingle, and take part in a skills‑exchange marketplace designed for women, by women.
Rather than formal presentations, the heart of this gathering is you—your strengths, your passions, and the everyday skills that help women lift each other up.
This event is about celebrating women’s skills in all their forms—big or small, polished or emerging—and giving space for WoWY members to shine, learn and grow together. Join us as we celebrate International Women’s Day the WoWY way: by giving, gaining, and lifting one another higher.
