West Yorkshire Community Accounting Service (WYCAS) is a small charitable company based in Leeds that aims to supports organisations to manage their finances more effectively and efficiently. Their service is unique in West Yorkshire and has been going since 2000.
They partner with TSL Kirklees to offer support to third sector groups in Kirklees. Services are either free or subsidised depending on the size of the organisation.
They have a dedicated Community Accountant for Kirklees and Wakefield, Elisabeth Beverley. You can talk to Lis via phone or Zoom, and she runs a quarterly forum for anyone working in accounting or finance in local charities, community groups and social enterprises, including treasurers and trustees.
Their specialist and highly knowledgeable team offer training, support and tailored services to help you to manage your finances better, and meet the various regulatory requirements, allowing you more time to focus on delivering your services.
