The aim of Bradford PHAB Club is to promote and encourage people of all abilities to come together on equal terms, to achieve complete inclusion within the wider community.

This includes promoting and encouraging the self-confidence and independence of young people of all abilities through a range of diverse activities and projects.

We have a large group of children and young people both with and without disabilities and we provide a wide range of activities for them to access. The participants are transported to and from the club each week. We also provide supervision and support to the children and young people and offer a break from everyday life with a chance to mix with and make new friends. Our unpaid volunteers include those that work, professionally, with individual disabled children and thus understand their needs and are able to make informed decisions to best achieve positive outcomes for them.

Bradford PHAB Club is looking for volunteers to support our PHAB Festival on Monday 31st August 2026 at East Bierley Cricket Club, Southview Road, Bradford, BD4 6PJ.

Volunteer hours can be any time you can give between 9.00am and 7.00pm to help set up/tidy away,

Tasks will include but not limited to:

• Litter picking at the site during and after the event
• Field activities including supervising bouncing castles
• Car park management – assisting Coordinators
• Setting up the outside seating area
• Supervising the changing rooms/ tea room
• Putting out cones in the car park
• Putting up signage around the site/ club
• Helping with stall set up as required
• Stage management duties

This role requires a DBS Check.

Small expenses for travel may be considered and refreshments/ sandwiches will be provided free of charge to volunteers on the day
