Role Description
Our Pantry Volunteers help us provide a welcoming and supportive shopping experience for our clients. The role involves assisting clients in the pantry, operating the till and helping ensure the service runs smoothly.
The Pantry is based in Skelmanthorpe, HD8.
This role requires someone who:
- Is friendly, approachable and comfortable talking to clients
- Can use their own initiative and work independently when needed
- Has a calm, patient and supportive nature
- Has good communication skills and a non-judgemental approach
- Is comfortable learning to use a till
- Full training will be provided, and volunteers will be supported in their role.
No experience needed — full training and support provided!
A variety of days and flexible shifts are available.
