We are a group of small Anglican Churches covering the villages of Upper Denby and Denby Dale,  Cumberworth, Shelley and Shepley.  We are worshipping communities that meet together predominantly on Sundays and Wednesdays and engage in the life of the local communities.   We have two successful spaces that are regularly rented out to regular groups and one-off bookings such as wedding receptions.  All of our workforce are volunteers with the exception of the Vicar, but who are becoming older and unable to take on the high demands of  the professional, yet volunteer roles that the Church needs.

We are looking to expand with additional volunteers who could help us with the planning and co-ordinating of our diary and rentals.  Any such person MUST be sympathetic to Christian values and be willing to help out on a regular basis.

We are looking for a person or people who would like to become involved in other initiatives as the need arises.  I am thinking of luncheon clubs or games afternoons, or whatever it may be.  We always need people on hand to make tea and engage with the those who attend.

We are looking to renovate the Church Hall with some assistance from a volunteer who can ASSIST with managing a renovation project in the Church Hall in Shepley village

The role will need someone with good organisational skills, an eye for detail and a vision for the future use of the Hall.  We are looking to promote it for varying events and for this we will need it in good condition.    This work has already begun under the voluntary Hall Manager but we are in need of someone to assist and apply for grants.

Any such person MUST be sympathetic to Christian values and be willing to help out on a regular basis.
