Active Travel Innovation Fund
- Overview: Grants of up to £100,000 from the Department for Transport (DfT) for small to medium-sized businesses, charities, CICs and NGOs to develop, deliver or scale interventions that increase walking, wheeling and cycling. Eligible Projects should target underrepresented groups.
- Projects: Can include:
- Community initiatives
- Local authority-business partnerships
- Digital tools for safety/accessibility
- Behaviour change programmes
- Eligibility:
- UK-registered SMEs, NGOs, charities, CICs, sole traders, partnerships, and LLPs
- Consortia applications allowed if lead applicant is UK-registered
- Lead organisations must fit the size profile of a Small / Medium Size enterprise (i.e. staff size limit of fewer than 250 people).
- Deadline: 14 November 2025
