Funding for Projects Supporting Those in Need of a Safe and Secure Home

Summary: Leeds Building Society Foundation is offering grants to registered charities supporting people who are experiencing homelessness or are in need of a safe and secure home.

Maximum value: The current tranche of small grants is for up to £2,500 for registered charities with an annual turnover below £500,000. The large grants round is expected to open later this summer.

Funding priorities Projects should improve one or more of:

    • Health and wellbeing.
    • Financial literacy.
    • Housing security and stability.
    • Support for people experiencing homelessness.

Examples of eligible activity include:

    • Support with debt and financial stress.
    • Emergency accommodation and refuge provision.
    • Improving the quality and suitability of housing.
    • Wraparound health and wellbeing support linked to housing outcomes.
