Summary: Ministry of Justice and HM Prison and Probation Service funding programme to support early intervention and community-based services for women aged 18+ who are at risk of entering or re-entering the criminal justice system. Seeks to reduce the number of women entering custody through preventative support and diversionary services. Supports gender-specific, trauma-informed approaches addressing issues such as domestic abuse, mental ill-health, substance misuse, housing instability and unemployment. Open to charities, voluntary and community organisations, social enterprises and consortia. Funded activity will run from January 2027 to March 2029.
