Albert Hunt Trust: Hospice Care
The Albert Hunt Trust announced last year that it plans to spend its entire resource by January 2029, its 50th anniversary. It is currently working on the final grant making strategy which will be announced at ‘the earliest opportunity to ensure past, present and potential future beneficiaries understand the funding opportunities available’. The Trust supports local charities who are providing hospice care, support for the homeless and those promoting health and wellbeing.
Currently, the Trust is giving priority to local charities providing hospice care with typical grant sizes ranging from £20,000 to £40,000. The grants can be used for a range of purposes and could include staff costs and ongoing running costs for specific projects.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling monthly basis subject to the trustees’ availability. The deadline for submissions is the last working day of each month. If successful, an award is made around six weeks after the submission deadline.
Applications can be made at any time.
