Volunteer for a Day: Help Us Tackle a Mountain of Donations!

Join us for a day in Brighouse and help sort donated goods for our charity shops.

What you’ll be doing

We have a large pile of donated goods that needs sorting, and every pair of hands will make a real difference. Working alongside others, you will:

• Open and sort bags of donations into different piles.

• Identify items that could be sold in one of our charity shops.

• Set aside and dispose of anything that is not suitable for sale, following guidance from the staff member on site.

Who can take part?

You don't need any previous experience in retail or sorting donations. A staff member will be on hand throughout the session to explain the tasks, answer questions and provide support. Whether you already volunteer with us, work for us, want to help for just one day, or are looking for a practical team-building volunteering activity, you will be very welcome.

Plenty of parking available

WC facilities on site

When?

Date: Weekdays and weekends between 17 August and 31 August (inclusive)

Time: 9am to 4pm

Please wear comfortable clothing and sturdy, closed-toe footwear. Let us know in advance if you have any support or accessibility needs so we can discuss suitable arrangements.
