Oxfam’s network of over 650 shops is run by 23,000 volunteers and shop managers. Through the sale of donated goods and new products the shops contribute millions of pounds each year to help fund Oxfam’s crucial work.

We’re looking for volunteers who can give 4-8 hours (or more!) of their time in the shop each week!

Location: Oxfam Mirfield, Foldhead Mills, Huddersfield Road, Mirfield. WF14 8BE

Opening hours: Monday – Saturday 9am-5pm

As this is a specialist role, we hope you already have a passion for all genres of music. But we’ll give you all the training and support you need to develop your skills as part of our team. You don’t need to have any retail experience – we’ve got you covered. You can also get some lunch and travel costs too.

Tasks may include:
Sorting, researching and valuing vinyl donations
Keeping the vinyl section well-stocked and organised
Spotting rare and collectable records
Establishing a customer base that trusts your judgement
Improve your communication skills as part of a team
Get retail experience while working with the music you love

• Oxfam will reimburse all Volunteer expenses incurred in line with Oxfam’s Volunteer Expenses Policy: travel expenses, & lunch (full day).

• Oxfam do not accept applications from anyone on the Sex Offenders list. We may inquire about unspent convictions relevant to the role and you may be required to submit to DBS check (at no expense to you).
