Dial Wood is a centre for disabled people to enjoy carriage driving, riding therapy and contact with ponies. We are run entirely run by volunteers. Our ponies are especially selected and need to be looked after. Our people are trained to give our clients the best opportunity to enhance their well being through sport and fun.
We are looking for adults/older teenagers who can spare an hour to help with feeding our ponies and preparing the field ready to put them out in the morning during the week or at weekends after our morning session.
Full training will be given and you will never be working on your own.
This role is a great way to work together in our friendly team.
There are lots of other opportunities to work with disabled young people and ponies to encourage confidence and ability through fun activities.
There are opportunities for training to become an Activity Leader or Trainee Coach.
If you are interested you can also access Riding for the Disabled qualifications.
