We are an arts and wellbeing organisation for the elderly based in the Holme Valley in Holmfirth, aiming to alleviate social isolation and loneliness, whilst creating high-quality artworks.  We  meet regularly every Thursday 1-3pm in term time.  The sessions are led by 2 community artists.  What makes us different is that we always work with other community groups: for example schools; day centres for adults with learning disabilities; refugees; and a residential centre for adults with mental health issues…  Our projects usually finish with an exhibition, open day, unveiling etc open to the public.

We run weekly 2 hour arts & wellbeing sessions for older people in Holmfirth, working collaboratively on ambitious arts projects with other intergenerational community groups. We are not a dementia group…

We are looking for an additional 1 or 2 volunteers to help out at sessions, make hot drinks, collect subs, help those that need additional inspiration or support.
