Creative Arts projects with an extended family of refugees and local communities in all parts of Kirklees.
We challenge discrimination of any kind and work towards a kinder future.
6 MILLION+ is a charitable trust that integrates creative arts work with refugees and local volunteers in Kirklees and beyond.
We currently need 3 NEW TRUSTEES who are interested in supporting our projects.
The expectation would be to attend 6 meetings a year, 3 online and 3 face to face in central Huddersfield and to take an active interest in the organisation.
WE ARE VERY WELCOMING AND FRIENDLY and currently have 5 trustees. In particular we need three new kinds of trustee: one with experience of fundraising/marketing, one with arts project management experience and one with educational expertise outside the formal sector.
Our AGM is due to take place on 28th October, and we would love for the new trustees to be agreed by then but we can be flexible with this!
We'd be happy to meet with anyone interested to have a chat about what it means to be a trustee with us.
