We are a theatre company based in the North of England creating and touring new work, producing large-scale theatre events, whilst supporting and nurturing individuals from the local community across Yorkshire and the North West through our unique LAB Project. 

At Proper Job we are passionate about continuously developing projects that excite us, fire our curiosity and expand our imgination. We are proud to be a key supporter and contributor to the creative industries within Kirklees.

We are particularly interested in developing trustee expertise in:
- Creativity to improve health and health inequalities
- Creative Industries and talent development
- Performance

We are dedicated to increasing access to the arts and recognise that valuable leadership experience is gained in many different ways. We encourage applications from a broad base representative of our communities.

No previous board experience necessary.

Our board meet quarterly online with one meeting per year held in person, usually from our main base in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire (with dinner afterwards!)

This is a voluntary position with expenses covered.
