Wellness Works Small Grants Now Open!
Wellness Works Small Grants Now Open for Kirklees Community Projects
Community groups in Kirklees can now apply for up to £10,000 in funding through the Wellness Works Small Grants programme — supporting projects that help residents improve their health, wellbeing, and future opportunities.
Applications open Monday 20 October 2025 and close Monday 1 December 2025.
Wellness Works helps adults aged 18–64 to boost their wellbeing, overcome barriers, and take positive steps toward training, volunteering, and employment. The programme forms part of Healthy Working Life — a joint initiative by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board, delivering the Mayor’s vision for West Yorkshire to have the healthiest residents and workforce in England by 2040.
Run in partnership with Third Sector Leaders and Kirklees Council, the scheme welcomes applications from local voluntary and community groups, charities, social enterprises, and faith-based organisations delivering inclusive activities for Kirklees residents.
Funding can support a wide range of projects — from exercise and wellbeing groups to skills-building workshops, volunteering initiatives, and community events that help people connect and thrive. Successful projects will begin by January 2026 and must be completed by 31 May 2026.
💡 Applications close on 1 December 2025 – don’t miss out!
