Community Learning Works is about helping people find their future through volunteering, local activities, community courses and advice on learning and work, and supporting groups to offer these in opportunities to people in their communities.
It is a partnership of community organisations and learning providers who offer courses from learning centres and community venues across Kirklees. Our funding helps them offer additional courses that address gaps and overcome barriers, and helps community groups deliver creative and engaging taster activities in local neighbourhoods, designed to encourage people to try a new activity or learn a new skill.
The project is managed by Bridget Hughes.
