A Trip Out for EPIKS Volunteer Environmental Rangers
Environmental Projects in Kirklees (EPIKS) Volunteer Rangers were invited today to visit Castle Hill, and have a guided tour led by KMC ranger, Julian Brown.
The team supported the care of the hill with a litter pick, before going up Victoria Tower to look at Huddersfield and the surrounding area.
We then enjoyed a cup of tea and cake before finishing the outing.
EPIKS volunteers meet every Wednesday from 10am to 1pm and work on areas of riverside along Huddersfield’s River Colne, from Milnsbridge to Colne Bridge.
