Be a VCSE storyteller for the next Schwartz Rounds ‘Caring at home and at work': 14th June

The WY Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub provides free therapeutic/counselling support for health and care staff/volunteers in West Yorkshire. They also arrange Schwartz Rounds on a theme that are structured session facilitated by a trained psychologist to help the mental health and wellbeing of health and care staff and volunteers by creating a safe space to hear and reflect on the experience of story tellers.

Their next Schwartz Rounds is taking place in Kirklees and Calderdale focusing on the theme of ‘Caring at home and at work: a juggling act!’ and is taking place on Wednesday 14 June 2023, 12:15-13:30.

They would like to secure 2-3 storytellers from VCSE staff and organisations to share their personal experiences on the theme. There is reimbursement for £75 for a storyteller and it would involve speaking for approx. 5 minutes and meeting with the facilitator beforehand to brief you, help shape your story and provide support if needed as we know sharing stories is not always easy.

If you would like to do the above, please email arfan.hussain3@nhs.net by midday, Mon 12 June.
