Many businesses and organisations offer their employees an opportunity to volunteer in work time.
This is sometimes known as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Social Value or Employer Supported Volunteering. Volunteering individually or as a team can be a great way to support your local community and give your employees a rewarding and fulfilling experience. Many businesses share their time and skills with a charity through a team away day or team building experience with colleagues.
You can view and register your interest in a Team or Individual Skills Share Volunteering opportunity below. You can also sign up to our quarterly Social Value Newsletter by scrolling to the sign up form at the bottom of this page.
We can also help if you would like to fundraise for a charity/community group, collect donations or share your expertise or resources. Talk to us: email volunteer@tslkirklees.org.uk tel. 01484 519053 / 07776588691

Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice supports children with life-shortening conditions and their families across West Yorkshire.
We’re here for any family confronted with the news their child has a life-shortening condition, however, wherever and whenever they need us. By providing superb nursing care, hydrotherapy, creative therapy, days out, memory making, end of life care, bereavement support and counselling, Forget Me Not helps families make the most of every moment they have together.
This year we need over £6.5 million to provide vital care and support to local children and families. Only a small proportion comes from the government or NHS, so we must raise over 80% of that ourselves.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) rates us as ‘outstanding’. This puts us in the top 1% of all of the organisations they inspect.
Join members of the Regional Fundraising Team to deliver exciting fundraising activities in the community, raising awareness of Forget Me Not Children’s hospice and the services that we provide. Whether it's marshalling at our Colour run, being a stall holder at the Dragon Boat Race or bucket collecting in a local super market, we have exciting roles for anyone wanting to make a difference and raise money for a wonderful cause.
