To mark Co-op Fortnight 2024 – an annual campaign that celebrates co‑operatives and the different way they do business – Business For Good West Yorkshire partners, Stir to Action and Co-operatives UK are inviting people find out more with an inspiring and informative visit to one of the great local co-ops that we have here in West Yorkshire.
Between Monday 24th June and Friday 5th July, you can visit a range of organisations, in Calderdale, Leeds, Bradford and here in Kirklees, including bakeries, community farms, wholefood sellers, and community buildings like Holmfirth Tech. You’ll have a tour, meet the founders and workers, and find out more about how they run, how their business model works and how they fulfill their social purpose.
Each visit will be from 11am to 1pm and include a free lunch, and you can book up to 3 of the 6.
