Have your say on the NHS 10-Year Health Plan

NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (NHS WY ICB) is collaborating with partners to invite local people, communities, partners, and stakeholders to share their perspectives on the NHS 10-Year Health Plan.

The goal is to shape how health and care services are delivered locally across West Yorkshire and nationally. Acknowledging the significant efforts of NHS staff in restoring services, reducing waiting lists, and delivering high-quality care, NHS WY ICB recognises that many effective solutions are already in practice within the NHS. Regardless of whether individuals have much or little to contribute, their views, experiences, and ideas will influence both immediate actions and long-term changes outlined in the 10-Year Health Plan.

NHS WY ICB is seeking input from individuals and communities, partner organisations, stakeholders, and leaders of forums or groups in West Yorkshire. Support will be provided to help these groups gather and share their feedback for inclusion in the 10-Year Health Plan discussions. NHS WY ICB aims to ensure that everyone in the region has an opportunity to participate.

Attend Workshops in Early 2025
Participate in a series of workshops to discuss the plan. Each workshop will focus on one of the three shifts, look at local examples, and ask about your experience, views, and ideas.

The three shifts are:

  • Moving more care from hospitals to communities (Hospital to Community)
  • Making better use of technology (Analogue to Digital)
  • Preventing sickness not just treating it (Treatment to Prevention)

Whether you have a little to say or a lot, your views, experiences, and ideas will shape the immediate steps and long-term changes through the 10-Year Health Plan for the NHS and locally in West Yorkshire.
