A month of free lunchtime seminars, workshops and talks from Oxford Brookes University

To mark the WHO’s Decade of Healthy Ageing, Oxford Brookes University is running a month of free lunchtime seminars, workshops and talks to illustrate the breadth and depth of action that we can take as individuals, employers, professionals and researchers. Researchers and partners will showcase leading edge research, explore policy challenges and provide advice and tips about how to age healthily.
This programme is divided into four themes:
- Our Decade of Healthy Ageing: Visions and future priorities
- Ageing Well : Includes physical exercise, nutrition and alcohol moderation, living with dementia and cancer survivorship
- Homes and neighbourhoods for healthy ageing: The design of age-friendly housing, neighbourhoods and cities
- Work and ageing: The role of the employer and employee
