Information Sessions: Kirklees Holidays Activities & Food Programme

This summer, school-age children and young people who are eligible for free school meals (FSM) will be able to access a wide range of funded, fun clubs and activities across Kirklees. There will be opportunities available for families, those over 16 and under 5’s.

The “School’s Out!” programme is being co ordinated by Phillip Blackwell from Kirklees Council and Susan Greenwood from local charity Kirklees Youth Alliance (KYA) and funded as part of the Department of Education Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme as well as KYA’s Council-funded Healthy Holidays Programme.

Information sessions for organisations wanting to deliver any part of this year’s School’s Out! programme are taking place on:

Wednesday 21 April 6.00 – 7:30pm Focus on Activities
Tuesday 27 April 10.00 – 11.30am Focus on Food
Saturday 1 May 10.00 – 11.30am Focus on Activities
Tuesday 4 May 6.00 – 7:30pm Focus on Food

These can be dropped into during the times above, and they will be directly responding to any questions that you may have regarding plans for summer.
