Kirklees Council support anti-racism movement

Later this month, West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership (WY&H HCP) and the West Yorkshire Violence Reduction Unit (VRU) are launching their anti-racism movement.

We are proud to be one of the 450+ organisations and community allies who have signed up to root out racism. We know our partners share our values towards eradicating all forms of discrimination and addressing inequalities so we want to take this opportunity to let you know it’s not too late to sign-up.

Please get involved in this important movement by registering your support at: WY&H HCP anti-racism movement toolkit.

Cllr Shabir Pandor, Leader for Kirklees Council and Movement Ambassador said:

‘Rooting out racism is incredibly important for Kirklees and WY&H HCP. I’m delighted that over 430 organisations and community allies including the West Yorkshire Mayor and Deputy Mayor are getting behind our movement to root out racism. We really are stronger together and only by working side by side with colleagues and communities locally and across West Yorkshire and Harrogate can we proactively change society for the better for everyone’.
