northorpe hall child and family trust - celebrate volunteer award

We are delighted to announce that Northorpe Hall Child and Family Trust have achieved the Kirklees Volunteering Quality Award. The award recognises organisations that deliver a high quality, safe and rewarding volunteering experience.

The award is managed by Third Sector Leaders Kirklees in partnership with Kirklees Council and involves a rigorous assessment process, overseen by Volunteer Management Professionals from the charity sector.

Becky Bracey, Volunteer Services Manager at TSL Kirklees commented:

“Northorpe Hall Child and Family Trust offer some wonderful volunteering opportunities in a highly rewarding and supportive environment. Volunteers clearly make a huge difference to the charity in their work supporting children and young people who are facing difficulties in their lives. The assessors highlighted some excellent practice including how the charity involve volunteers in decision making processes and the wide range of training opportunities they offer volunteers to support their personal development.”

Dawn Kershaw, Volunteer Co-ordinator at Northorpe added:

“At Northorpe Hall we are incredibly proud of the outstanding dedication and commitment of our volunteers. Their passion empowers us to continue ‘transforming young lives’ and plays a vital role in shaping the services we deliver. Through their extraordinary efforts, they are making a truly positive difference for the young people, families, and communities we support.

We thank all our volunteers for everything they do and the difference they make.”
