Words in Mind is a National Lottery Community Fund funded project that aims to bring people together through words, reading and reminiscence. The project is recruiting and training volunteers throughout Kirklees to help set up and run therapeutic reading groups for people with dementia, mental health issues, isolation, loneliness and their carers, and is working with community groups, community venues, care homes, in-patient wards and residential homes to host these groups.
