Tuesday 16 November at 10:30 – 13:00

The Mayor for West Yorkshire, Tracy Brabin and Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime, Alison Lowe would like to invite you to attend their first annual Third Sector Conference which will celebrate the work of the third sector and how it has worked in partnership over the last 12 months.

The topic for this year’s conference is Domestic Abuse which is recognised as a key challenge in our efforts to keep West Yorkshire safe and to support the Mayoral pledge to keep women and girls safe.

The vision for our work is to come together with partners including the police, local authorities, health, education, third sector, our communities’ and those already working to address and tackle Domestic Abuse across all sectors. The event will give delegates the opportunity to discuss the latest developments in light of the passing of the Domestic Abuse Act and the current impact and challenges on the sector as a result of Covid 19.

Attendees will hear from a number of colleagues, including the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, West Yorkshire Police, Third Sector Partners and those with lived experience.

The conference will take place virtually via Microsoft Teams on.

To secure your place at this important event please email consultation.pc@westyorks-ca.gov.uk by Friday 12th November.
