  • Communications Officer
  • Specialist Practioners (Children’s Mental Health)
  • Well-Being Support Workers
  • Emotional Health Worker
  • Project Worker – RISE

All deadlines are 1st September 2019

Northorpe Hall Child & Family Trust continues to grow and around 75% of all charity funds are spent on salaries, so we are recruiting again.

In 2019, we’re a partner in Thriving Kirklees – joining up and transforming health services for families in Kirklees and we have additional funds to reduce waiting times.  We’re working more closely with schools and have been funded to pilot mental health support teams in schools, again in partnership.  We continue to successfully raise funds by working with local businesses and through weddings and events in our barn, as well as receiving funds from the Big Lottery and Children in Need.

There are a wide range of people working at Northorpe Hall in 2019 – over 70 employees, plus volunteers, self-employed workers including counsellors, trainee education mental health practitioners and CAMHS and Nursing staff employed by partner organisations, co-located with us to join up services and provide the best support to families and young people in Kirklees.

The team is diverse, talented, hard-working and friendly – with a wide range of experience and professional backgrounds.  Some joined us early in their career and have gained experience and qualifications with us over the years, others have brought significant experience from education, social care, clinical settings and family or youth work.  We provide high quality support, supervision and training to staff to ensure they can provide quality support to young people and families.  We work 8am to 8pm to respond to family’s needs, so we can offer flexible working and part-time hours too.

Now is a great time to join the Northorpe Hall team.  You’ll get great experience of innovative, responsive mental health support to children and families; get training and development opportunities to grow your skills and knowledge and you’ll feel supported and valued as part of a team.  You will also make a real difference to the lives of local young people who really need your support and care.
