Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice supports children with life-shortening conditions and their families across West Yorkshire.

We’re here for any family confronted with the news their child has a life-shortening condition, however, wherever and whenever they need us. By providing superb nursing care, hydrotherapy, creative therapy, days out, memory making, end of life care, bereavement support and counselling, Forget Me Not helps families make the most of every moment they have together.

This year we need over £6.5 million to provide vital care and support to local children and families. Only a small proportion comes from the government or NHS, so we must raise over 80% of that ourselves.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) rates us as ‘outstanding’. This puts us in the top 1% of all of the organisations they inspect.

What will I be doing?
As part of our fundraising activities in West Yorkshire, we place collection tubs at local businesses and community organisations across the region. We’re looking for a volunteer to coordinate this for us by working alongside our fundraising team to make sure these collection tubs are placed in the right places and checked regularly. You’ll also help expand our collection tub activity so that we raise more vital funds to support our work with children and families.
