About the Organisation

Oxfam GB retail sector has 600+ shops across Great Britain. The charities Values are Equality, Empowerment, Solidarity, Inclusiveness, Accountability, Courage.

They are a global organisation that fights inequality to end poverty and injustice. They offer live saving support in times of crisis and advocate for economic justice, gender equality, and climate action.

Our shops support Oxfam programmes across the world by selling donated and sourced fair trade products in their shops.

Our shops are ran by volunteer teams with a paid manager and sometimes a paid deputy manager, Most operate opening hours of Monday to Sundays every week.

My Role as Volunteer resource co-ordinator is to support shops with volunteer recruitment for shops in the west and south Yorkshire areas.
