Dial Wood RDA is a centre for disabled people to enjoy carriage driving, riding therapy for children, pony therapy and contact with ponies. We are run entirely run by volunteers. Our ponies are especially selected and need to be looked after. Our people are trained to give our clients the best opportunity to enhance their well being through sport and fun. Our latest venture is Tea with a Pony especially for those with dementia and their carers.
We need a person who can make a good cup of tea to help with our Tea with a Pony sessions for people with dementia. The sessions run on a Tuesday and Thursday afternoon for just 2 hours. No experience with ponies is necessary as we have experienced volunteers managing this. A person who cares about people and likes the outdoors is important.
