Pianists—ranging from good amateurs, finalists of the Channel 4 series ‘The Piano’, conservatory students to seasoned professionals—perform in venues along a curated walking route

Role Overview
Venue Coordinators are the linchpins of our event operations, ensuring each performance space runs smoothly, safely, and on time. They lead the stewarding team, liaise with venue staff, performers and technical staff, and act as the main point of contact at their venue. This role suits confident, organised individuals who enjoy taking initiative and creating a calm, welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Brief, support, and coordinate stewards and volunteers at the venue
- Ensure smooth audience entry, seating, and latecomer management
- Welcome artists and coordinate green room or warm-up needs
- Keep performances running to time and communicate any delays or issues
- Handle unexpected situations with discretion and escalate when needed
- Monitor audience flow, flag risks, and ensure accessibility provisions are upheld
Ideal Qualities
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Calm under pressure and solution-oriented
- Comfortable leading a small team and giving clear instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive
- Previous event, hospitality, or volunteer coordination experience is a bonus
