Our work doesn’t just change lives for older people — it gives families peace of mind, knowing their loved ones are well cared for.

We’re looking for volunteers across Calderdale and Kirklees who want to support their local community, meet new people, and make a meaningful difference — right on their doorstep.

Our volunteers help deliver practical, reliable services that make a real difference to older people’s everyday lives — while giving families the reassurance that their loved ones are well supported.

What you could be doing

We offer a wide and varied range of volunteer roles, so there’s something to suit your interests, skills, and availability. You could be:

• Gardening or helping people enjoy their outdoor spaces
• Singing, playing music, or supporting creative activities
• Getting involved in arts and crafts sessions
• Driving to help people get to appointments or activities
• Offering companionship as a befriender
• Supporting people with technology as a Digital Champion
• Or using your own skills and interests in other creative and practical ways
