Community Shares Booster Fund
- Purpose: Supports community share offers for new and existing community businesses in England. Delivered by Co-operatives UK, Locality, Plunkett UK, and Co-operative and Community Finance Funded by Power to Change and Access – the Foundation for Social Investment.
- Funding Available:
- Pre-grant support: Early-stage activity assistance.
- Development grants: £2,000 to £15,000 for preparing community share offers.
- Equity match investment: £10,000 to £100,000 to match community-raised funds.
- Subscription underwriting: Interest-free loans for share purchases.
- Loan finance: Access to loan finance through partner CCF.
- Priorities:
- Disadvantaged, less affluent, and under-represented communities.
- Projects addressing climate change and digital inclusion.
