Summary: Grants are available for voluntary groups, social enterprises, and other not-for-profit organisations to deliver cycling projects and activities across England for people who do not normally cycle. Funded by Active Travel England and the UK Government, administered by Cycling UK.

Delivery window: 3 April 2026 – 30 October 2026

Maximum value: Up to £3,500 depending on number of activities delivered

Objectives: Encourage adults to:

• • Start cycling or return to cycling.
  • Cycle more often.
  • Take short cycling trips.
  • Improve confidence and perception of cycle safety.

Priority groups include:

• • Women
  • People on low incomes
  • Ethnic minority groups
  • Unemployed people
  • People not meeting activity guidelines
  • People with perceived barriers
