Hospice UK - Dying Matters Community Grants Programme
- Overview: Grants of up to £10,000 are available for Hospice UK members, working in partnership with community groups/organisations, for creative community projects that focus on opening up conversations about death and dying with communities traditionally less likely to be reached by hospice care.
- Target Groups: Projects should aim to reach:
- Ethnic minorities
- People experiencing homelessness
- Imprisoned individuals
- LGBTQ+ communities
- People in remote/rural areas
- Those living in poverty or lower socioeconomic conditions
- People with learning disabilities
- Eligible Activities: Projects must use arts and culture to explore death and dying in innovative ways. Examples include theatre productions, exhibitions, community murals, comedy nights, workshops and courses.
