  • Grants at the upper end (£40k–£50k) are very limited.
  • Average award: ~£15,000.

Applicants must:

• • Own the building or have rights to carry out works.
  • Be a registered charity if not part of a main denomination.
  • Have annual income <£100,000 if not registered with the Charity Commission.
  • Buildings must be open for worship at least 6 times a year and open to the public 100 days/year after project completion.

Project Requirements:

• • Work must be supervised by a qualified conservation professional (AABC, RIBA CA, RIAS Advanced, RICS, CIAT).
  • All permissions (faculty, planning, etc.) must be in place before applying.
  • Work must not have started before the application is submitted.
  • At least 50% match funding required.
