Benefact Trust – Community Impact Grants small grants
- Objectives: Support Christian organizations to deliver projects that positively impact communities. Focus areas include growing congregations, addressing social challenges, enabling wider community use of church buildings, and empowering Christian education.
- Eligibility:
- Churches, cathedrals, denominational bodies, Christian charities, schools, and theological educational institutions with a clear Christian ethos.
- Must secure at least 30% of total project costs before applying.
- Restrictions: Funding not available for existing salary costs, indirect costs, retrospective costs, significant volunteer expenses, and most repair work.
- Application Process:
- Applications can be submitted at any time.
- Average decision time: 2 months for small grants (up to £10,000), 4-6 months for larger grants (over £10,000).
