The Maintenance Fund provides grants to grassroots football clubs, leagues, charities, education sites to maintain and improve pitch quality based on a PitchPower Pitch Assessment. Funding is categorized into 'Enhance' for lower-quality pitches (up to £3,200 in year 1) and 'Sustain' for higher-quality pitches (up to £960 in year 1) and is paid annually with grants decreasing over six years. Funding cannot be used for routine maintenance, machinery purchase or repair, goalpost replacement, facility hire, or staffing costs. Ineligible applicants include those without proper tenure, a PitchPower report, or community use commitment.

Applications are accepted any time after completing a PitchPower pitch inspection.
