Overview: Grants are available from The Ironmongers' Company to support initiatives that encourage young people, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds to study science subjects at school and go on to pursue STEM-related further education or vocational training, particularly in the area of Materials Science.

Smaller initiatives where the grant makes a significant impact.
Equipment funding only as part of a programme of activity.
Location Preference: Urban areas outside London, especially in the North and Midlands with manufacturing presence.
